What Is NABIS The Gardening?

NABIS The Gardening is a strategic card game where:

-You are a Gardener (witch or wizard)

-Your deck (max 60 cards) containsĀ Plants, Pests, Pesticides, Treatments, and Heirlooms

-The battlefield is called the Garden

-Used cards go to the Compost Pile

-Canna is the currency used to play cards, and comes in four colors: Green (sativa), Black (indica), Blue (hybrid), Red (auto). Canna can only be spent to play cards requiring their respective colors.

The goal is to defeat your opponent by carefully managing your resources and controlling the Garden.

Game Setup

Each player begins with:

-A shuffled deck (theĀ Compost Pile sits next to this as you discard)

-Seven cards in hand

-An empty GardenĀ (no cards are deployed until the first turn)

-AĀ Compost Pile for discarded cards

-A pad of paper to track each player's HP

Turn Structure

Each turn has three phases:

1. Draw Phase

-Untap any tapped cards

-Draw one card

2. Garden Phase

-Spend Canna to play cards

Each card's Canna cost is represented by the number of colored gems on the front of each card, across from the name of the card, on the right side. Each Canna is worth one Canna of its given color, when tapped during the Garden phase.

-Attack with Plants

-Deploy Heirlooms, Treatments Pests & Pesticides

3. Discard Phase

-Discard cards until seven cards remain in your hand

Winning the game

Each Gardener starts the game with 25 HP.

If damage being dealt by one card is not blocked or otherwise neutralized by an opponent's card, that card deals damage to the Gardener, reducing their overall HP.

When a Gardener's HP reaches zero, or they run out of cards, they lose the game.
